HISTORY

This was the first eight cylinder Bugatti in production. The first real eight cylinder Bugatti, Type 28, was catalogued, but never sold.
Early Type 30s were equipped with hydraulic front brakes, inspired by the utopian Type 28, but this didn't work very well so it was abandoned.
